The last and standing command of the Lord Jesus Christ to his church before he left this earth for heaven was a call to hold down the fort for the Kingdom, expand the kingdom of God on the earth and Win the World for Christ;

“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, …

Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you; and lo. I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. Matthew 28:19

Every believer in Christ is representative or ambassador of the kingdom of God wherever they are domiciled. Being a representative or ambassador of the kingdom requires that you firstly hold down the fort for the Lord Jesus Christ.

“Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you…” That means holding down the fort on the behalf of Christ.

As a Christian, believer in the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, you were placed in your locality, environment or neighborhood to shine as light and thereby eliminate darkness and expand the kingdom of God.
